HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE

First, congratulations to ALL of our High School MUSIC students for a SUPERIOR performance at the District Music Festival. I am very proud of all of our music students for their stellar performances and dedication to music! We received 10 Superiors and 6 Excellents at the Solo/Ensemble Festival. Please congratulate students when you see them for their great performances!

Our high school students with a Superior at District will be performing at the State Music Festival Friday, May 3 at Helena High School in Helena, MT. High school students are also preparing to record auditions for the All-State Music Festival held in October. 

 

JUNIOR HIGH UPDATE

Junior high students grades 6-8 performed at the Junior High Mass Band at Fairfield on April 22. Great job students! Thank you for being leaders, great behavior and a great performance! 

 

SPRING CONCERT DATES

 

Tuesday, May 14 Grades 6-12, 6 pm in the Power School Gym - We will be presenting a fun, pop concert through many genres, movies, and cartoons. 

 

Thursday, May 16 Grades PK-5, 6  pm in the Power School Gym - We will be presenting selections from "Aesop's Adventures" as well as band, recorder and choir music 

 

Pk-5 grade students need to dress nicely for the concert.

 

Dress requirements for grades 6-8

  • Black pants
  • Black or white dress shirt
  • Black shoes 
  • Black socks
  • NO SHORTS, SHORT SKIRTS, SHORT DRESSES OR FISHNET STOCKINGS!!!! 

Please help our students look professional at our concerts! If you need help locating items or have questions, please contact Melissa Gilbert.

  • Black shoes
  • Black socks
  • Uniform provided. 

Please ask your student if their uniform needs to be washed. We have had several long days in our uniforms, so they may need some tending.
