Dear Parents, May 5th is the annual bike rodeo in Choteau. This will be held at the Skyline Lodge Retirement Apartments (parking lot).
What will they need? Students need to bring a bike. If your little one does not have a useable bike let me know ASAP. We can arrange for a loner bike through the Health Department. Students need to wear tennis shoes or comfortable closed toe shoe to ride in the course. Please, no bulky boots or flip-flops. There is no need to bring helmets. They will be given a fitted helmet prior to beginning the course.
What will happen? Students will learn how to maintain their bicycles. This course will teach skills in proper procedures in riding a bike on a busy street or roadway. They will demonstrate these procedures by riding their bikes in a course.
Teacher needs: Thank you to all the parents who have given snacks. Students appreciate getting a snack before leaving for the day. Sometimes their journey home can be long. I am still accepting any snacks for the class until the 22nd. Thank you again for your time and donation.
